Psalm 31 : 19

GOODNESS

"Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You , goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men." Psalm 31 : 19.

Goodness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.  In my last blog I shared about Joy which is listed in Galatians 5 : 22-23 in the bible as another fruit of the Holy Spirit. Just recently I experienced the goodness of God at a deeper level. But before I go on I'd like to explain about the Kingdom of Heaven. Daniel 6:26-27 tells us about the Kingdom and that God works signs and wonders, which I like to call the supernatural. As a believer I expect to experience these and when I pray I believe I will see them outworked.

I was dreaming recently and I had a supernatural experience. In my dream I heard the Lord say "I'm doing some more heart surgery." In my book I tell of a lie that I believed when a young man was killed in an accident. I thought it was my fault because I was waiting for him to pick me up on his motorbike for a date, thinking it happened because I was evil. Carrying this guilt for a long time, I held deep unforgiveness toward myself. The lie became a stronghold, a bitter root.

Hebs 12:15 - "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many." The Lord was healing me in my dream.  I saw His hand go into my chest and I felt the sensation of Him pulling out that stronghold from the root. When I awoke I heard Him say "You do not have any evil in your heart, I have only ever meant for you to have good,  now you can experience the richness and fullness of my goodness."

I am so thankfull for His supernatural power working in me and giving me victory.
