Romans 12:10

LOVE

"Be devoted to tenderly loving your fellow believers as members of one family. Try to outdo yourselves in respect and honour of one another."

The bible says the fruit of the Holy Spirit (the work which His presence within accomplishes) is Love. I can still remember when I first experienced the Presence of the Lord. The night I accepted Him as my Lord and Saviour. I walked into the church and was overwhelmed by His Presence. I knew that the Creator of the Universe was there and I felt His amazing liquid love filling my heart. Back then we used to sing a song called "I love you with the love of the Lord" people in the church would all look around as we were singing. I thought these people really are genuine, they mean what their singing. It was so lovely, no one judging you or trying to work you out, I had never known this type of love before.

I made a decision all those years ago that I wanted to love others with this unconditional love. The Lord spoke to me and said as you allow Me to heal all your hurt ( broken heart) you will be able to love like this.

There's an old song which was a Motown hit in 1966 called " What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted". Part of the lyrics say "I've been searching everywhere just to find someone to care". If that's you ask, Jesus to come into your heart and receive His beautiful love. If you want a greater measure of that love just ask for it, He always comes as we seek Him. In Ephesians 3 we are told that "we will be empowered to discover the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding - this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God's mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this."
