I Have To Testify ( Part 1 )

Revelation 12:11 NAS

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."

It has been a year since my book was published and it took a year to write it. My dad had gone to be with Jesus and it seemed to me that I had lost my purpose to go on living, He had been such a large part of my life. So I earnestly prayed seeking the Father for something meaningful in my life. That's when Gina Guy-Warren contacted me and told me that the Holy Spirit had spoken to her to tell me it was time to write my story. I had no idea how I was going to do this when suddenly the Lord dropped into my heart a vision of my best friend and I sitting together. It was when we were at school about 12 years old. I grew up and went nursing and she is an author and publisher. Then the Lord said, "That's why I put you two girls together all those years ago because she will help you write this book." It has been an amazing journey and I'm so glad we did.

Recently I sold the home my father left me. I knew it was time to go, but really needed confirmation where I should be living, the location where my heavenly Father wanted me to be. I sold my home and bought another place within a week, which to me was amazing. I had looked at a few places and was waiting in a bus stop outside a lovely townhouse that I was to look at. I had been praying and asking God, "Is this the place?" I heard His vioce say, "Look around you my dear one". I thought, "Lord I'm sitting a in a bus stop", and He said, "This is where I want you to be". So I knew I had found it and the place is everything I wanted. I always like to have three confirmations that I am in God's will. So the next one was that the seller accepted my offer and my home was sold. Contracts signed and deposits exchanged and I had that beautiful peace of knowing my Father was in total control.

The last confirmation was when I visited my new place to show a neighbour. We were walking around and one of the owners of another unit in the complex had parked his truck outside in the visitors parking. My friend observed, "Look, his number plate its the same as yours." When I had bought my car with the number plate's letters YQG, one of the men from church said, "That stands for WHY QUESTON GOD". When that happened it was like red flashing lights going off with God's voice saying, "See little one, don't have any doubts". Of course all through this process many dear friends were praying for me and that has been such a comfort and I am very grateful.

Everytime I became anxious, wondering whether it would all work out, I heard His voice very clearly saying, "Just trust Me and it will be okay." Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
