"For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfilment." Luke 1:37.
At the beginning of the year the Lord gave me this scripture for a friend as encouragement and as I began to pray this through the Lord said that it was for me as well. What a great way to start the year!
As we go deeper into God's word and we allow Him to touch every area of our being, He brings healing and we become more like Jesus. This is why it is important to spend time in His presence in prayer, worship and reading the Word. Because we are changed into His likeness becoming vessels fully and flooded with God Himself. Eph 3:19-21.
When we think about NOTHING being impossible for God, statements like this can be beyond our human understanding. But we don't really have to understand just simply believe. God has limitless power, the only limitations we have, we have put there. When I think about the word "nothing" to me that means zero, nil, zilch, complete absence of anything, a "no thing". Because we are filled with the Holy Spirit He strengthens us and we step out in faith. The impossible becomes possible through His Spirit. Therefore God can do anything, every actual thing we could imagine.
Years ago the Lord challenged me to take a year off work and do a course of study with Youth with a Mission. This meant not working for an income for a year. I questioned this and the Lord said I want you to learn how to live by faith and trust Me for everything, for with Me nothing is impossible. Before you do something like this you must know you are in God's will. I did obey and step out into His will for me and He provided all I needed. I remember once when I needed money a friend provided the finances without me even asking, she just felt to give this to me.
So dear reader I encourage you to wholeheartedly surrender all to Him trusting completely in His power as we enter into this new year.
